I recently was having a conversation about how bad I think the card Doubling Season is since it doesn't create tokens the turn it comes into play leaving it as a huge target for your opponents for a whole turn
I think there are some hits and misses, but overall a decent set to grab a card or two if youre into UB or Assassins Creed and definitely some cards I think will be making a splash for some years to come
Combining these cards with Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant and Improvisation Capstone means that this version of Random Encounter is way more resilient than the builds in the past, because if things go wrong with Random Encounter we'll hopefully still have some big creatures around to play defense and attack on future turns
Sadly, there haven't been too many cards to support the mechanic being printed recently
Since Bitterblossom is still a pricey MTG card, and one of the best token-makers in Magic, it's unsurprising that players want to get their hands on this card
If you do care about the echo then the easier cost has some appeal
